Scott just (and I mean just) went into the upstairs bathroom to brush his teeth before bed...and found Beth curled up in the bathtub with her pillow, two blankets, and her stuffed sheep.
"Bethie, why are you sleeping in the tub?"
"Because my bed was too hard."

oh, that is awesome1
Wow! I'll have to let Alexander know, since he's often too scared to go into the bathroom by himself. The tub with shower curtain is just too worrisome for him.
LOL!!
This must be a genetic thing. Scott spent an inordiante amount of time reading in the tub as he was growing up, and since Beth doesn't know how to read yet, what else is there to do but sleep in the tub?
I only ever really read in the tub when we were on vacation/traveling. If everyone is asleep/watching TV/etc., there isn't really any place to read that is comfortable - especially on our trips where people slept everywhere (kitchen, living room, under stairs, ...)
LOL Great logic.
I used to sleep in the tub ALL the time when I was little--with the right blankets and pillows it can be quite comfortable. I'm with Beth :)
